Feedback Form with Invisible ReCAPTCHA Demo
Introduction
This is a demo of the feedback form script with an invisible ReCAPTCHA as generated by thesitewizard.com's Feedback Form Wizard. The wizard allows you to generate a customized contact form for your site.
Some Items to Note
Unlike the traditional CAPTCHA test, the CAPTCHA test on this page is not visible at the outset.
However, when the button on the form is clicked (eg by the person sending the message), the CAPTCHA service will try to determine if it was clicked by a human being or a spam bot (a computer program used by spammers to dump spam email into your form). If there is sufficient data for it to think that it was done by a human, the message will be sent to the webmaster without further ado. If it is not sure, a normal ReCAPTCHA test will pop up, asking the submitter to perform some tasks to see if there is a human at the helm.
Feel free to try this demo by sending a message (even "asdf asdf"). Note though that the message will be automatically discarded, so don't write any real feedback here. No one will read it.
For this demo, all fields are required, although you can enter false information into those fields if you wish. For your real form, you may make any or all of the fields optional if that's what you prefer.
Note that the invisible ReCAPTCHA facility will not allow you to click the Submit button more than once, without reloading the page. (It seems to ignore all clicks after the first one, rendering the button non-functional.) This will especially affect you (the webmaster/tester) since you will undoubtedly want to test it at least once to invoke the Error page, and once to test the Thank You page.
If you're too lazy to even fill the form fields or click the buttons, feel free to go directly to the sample Thank You and Error pages to take a look.
The visual appearance of the form is up to you. The wizard does not impose a particular design on your web page. The appearance of this page just happens to be the design I created for the demo. It's deliberately made to look different from the rest of thesitewizard.com so that you don't mistake the demo for the real thing.
